After a very intense February the beginning of March feels like a collective sigh of relief, with that sense that we have made it through some major transformation that we are still adjusting to. Venus joined the Sun in Pisces towards the end of last week in time to bounce light on an incredibly cleansing Full Moon in Virgo, creating a beautifully balanced opposition. Many of us may have experienced this lunation as revisiting shadows that we may have intellectually thought we had already healed and moved on from, but there was still a clearing of the emotional body required in order to move forward. The Virgo-Pisces axis that we have just collectively been moving through can be visualised in the sacred geometry of the Vesica Piscis (pictured above) similar to the yin and the yang, a continuous dance of the our humanity and divinity, shifting us as a collective in search of that sweet spot in the middle empowering us to fully upgrade. This sweet spot is shaped like an egg, almond or the Yoni (vagina) and is the gateway to experiencing our humanity and divinity in perfect harmony. This is the sacred feminine that has been steadily rising on Mother Earth throughout these times of transition, rebalancing with the masculine after being subjugated for far too long. So this last full moon of the astrological year may have felt like a significant culmination of this rebalancing phase and we will still be integrating the healing energies as we start this week, and for some time to come. For many of us the energetic shifts we have been going though together over the past year will have taken their toll, making us feel called to rest and assimilate all of the learnings our soul has been through. This is my weekly celestial energy forecast, which is to be taken very much like a weather forecast, except you will be able to navigate it more effectively if you know your birth chart. If you don't have your birth chart yet please get in touch and I can help you.
Mercury Trines North Node
On Transformation Tuesday for AstroYoga this week we have the planet of communications Mercury in Pisces trining the North Node of the moon in Gemini. This makes a harmonious aspect helping us to align with our collective Soul Purpose, i.e. what has brought us to live on Earth. Pay close attention to your dreams this week and if you can capture them in your journal as soon as you wake up in the morning they could hold big picture guidance from your higher self.
Parvati Conjunct Lilith
On Tuesday we are also gifted with the joining of the light and dark sides of the Divine Feminine in the form of the Parvati Asteroid and Black Moon Lilith. In astrology you may have noticed that the planets are predominantly masculine, however with the rise of the sacred feminine the Goddess energy is now becoming more evident in the skies. They've always been there, but our astronomers were preoccupied with the domineering big celestial bodies. I am feeling called to study these Goddess Asteroids and will share more about them in future updates. Seek and you shall find.
Parvati embodies the divine strength of devotion; she is the mountain that love becomes when we devote ourselves to another and our own soul. Parvati is the Hindu goddess of Fertility, of love and devotion, and of divine strength and power. She is the gentle, nurturing aspect of Shakti.
Astrologically, there are three Liliths which include the Asteroid Lilith, found orbiting in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter; the controversial Dark Moon Lilith that is said to be the Earth's second Moon by those who have claimed to see it over the last four centuries; and Black Moon Lilith, an abstract, geometrical point in space. Together they work as a Triple Moon Goddess, which describes a process of transformation. All three Liliths are interconnected in their meanings, drawn from the myths of the First Woman. Only Asteroid Lilith is an actual physical body. Its placement in one's chart appears to represent demonised aspects of the feminine. Lilith has become known as the dark side of femininity. She is the aspect of the sacred feminine which triggers deep-rooted fears within the patriarchal structures that prevail on Earth at this time. Her sexual power and refusal to be dominated or controlled is what scares the powers that be the most. But she is not the demonic entity that our collective consciousness has cast her to be in literature and HIStorical records. Much as the Vesica Piscis reminds us of the power of bringing our humanity and divinity into balance, Parvati and Lilith are two necessary sides of the Divine Feminine that need to be acknowledged and celebrated equally in order to restore peace within and without. Lilith challenges us to take back ownership of our bodies and souls and claim the life that we want to live. This is a potent energy to tap into for Tuesday's corresponding moon in Scorpio.
Lilith embodies the emotional and spiritual aspects of our unconscious or unrealised desires, sensuality, and unbridled sexuality. She owns her body and soul completely.
Mars Enters Gemini
Interestingly, on Wednesday 3rd March, the masculine warrior archetype Mars moves in to chatty and curious Gemini. We may experience this transit as a lift in the spirits and our passions may feel ignited by mental and intellectual stimulation. Mars has been in Taurus with the Great Awakener Uranus for some time, causing volatility, anger and at times exasperation. You may now feel an urgency for learning and gaining new experiences, but beware of overloading yourself because Gemini has a tendency to scatter our energies. A strong message coming through this week is to stay present as much as we can. While Mercury and Mars are playing in the area of our North Node, we may feel motivated to communicate our soul purpose plans and may even experience increased physical vitality. But it's important to pace ourselves. There is no hurry. We must remind ourselves that the positive signs of change on the horizon are here to encourage us, but not to get overwhelmed by putting pressure on ourselves to be a certain way. The old way of being simply will not help us fly. This is a great time to allow our curiosity to explore new options in a non-attached way. So see if you can practise non-attachment to any imaginary desired outcomes.
This Mars in Gemini energy may make us spew out a running commentary of our unedited feelings, and if not moderated you may find yourself expressing anger and frustration with sharply cutting words. Anger is a helpful spiritual tool and it must be expressed for our well-being. However, just be aware that it could come suddenly to the surface this week so take responsibility for expressing your anger in healthy ways. For example, stream of consciousness journalling or making some art can help you channel and release the feelings pulsing through you. Remember that emotions are energy that wants to move so even putting on some loud music and shaking it off will help. Whatever you do, try to keep grounded and calm this week, particularly if you find yourself in situations of potential conflict. Practice dropping into the heart through your breath by noticing if you start to feel triggered and pausing, taking a deep intentional breath and feeling your breath breathing your body through your expanding heart. This week offers an excellent opportunity to practice mindfulness around our triggers. The more we meditate, the more we can bend time and space to increase that cognitive interlude between when a stressor comes at us and how we choose to respond. See if you can catch yourself before launching into a tirade. If you notice others getting triggered drop into the heart space and listen. If they feel the urgency to be heard, remember that their words cannot harm you. Practice listening while protecting yourself energetically if you disagree with what is being said. When we take our time to listen and choose a calm response it is always coming from a position of inner strength and encourages equanimity in the way others respond to us.
We may also feel an increase in anxiety as Gemini is such a mentally agile and sometimes erratic sign. Physical exercise is a great way to release any excess mental noise that could arise with this transit. You will benefit greatly from getting outside and walking or running and of course, moving the energy through you with some yoga!
Venus sextile Uranus
Thankfully, on the same day all of this new Mars energy is erupting in the skies, his counterpart, our beloved Venus makes a harmonious aspect to Uranus, the Great Awakener. A sextile is an aspect formed when planets are two signs or about 60 degrees apart. It creates a positive harmony between planets that opens up new pathways for growth. The sextile brings ease to that area of the chart, with each of the planet’s energies inspiring and encouraging each other instead of holding each other back. Because of this, new ideas and opportunities can flow smoothly between different aspects of one person’s life. Check your birth chart to see which houses these planets are in for you. If you don' t have a birth chart yet please contact me and I can help you look it up.
This is an aspect of unconventional love and beauty, progressive ideas, inclusivity and innovative ways to create abundance in our lives, including making money through alternative methods. This could mean exploring new forms of financial exchange, cryptocurrency, online energy healing, or receiving inspiration to invent something new.
Mercury Conjunct Jupiter
4th March is on Thursday - which is the day of Jupiter -making it an even more powerful day for a Jupiter conjunction with Mercury, the planet of communication, thoughts and ideas. Jupiter brings good fortune, expansion of opportunities and ideas so keep an open mind with anything that presents itself to you on this day.
We could receive exciting, expansive news, ideas or downloads today, possibly connected with bringing us more into alignment with the Mercury trine North Node aspect earlier in the week.
Keep your journal or notebook on hand and capture any ideas or thoughts that light you up! You can also do this by recording voice memos in your phone. I do this often while walking my dog, when I haven't left it at home to completely unplug. If you are unplugging that's great. Rest assured that if you take time out in nature this week to be fully present that any ideas that are meant for you will recur at the right time.
Sun Square North Node
On Friday 5th March, the Sun squares the North Node in a harsh aspect between the solar light of consciousness and our collective Soul Purpose.
This aspect may be experienced as something of a death of the Ego … a release of constrictive aspects of our personality in order to align more fully with what Spirit has in store for us. I have been studying The Gospel of Mary Magdala: Jesus and the First Woman Apostle by Karen L. King with Meggan Watterson over the last couple of weeks and we have been learning about the relationship between the soul and the ego. Interestingly what we know as the 7 Deadly Sins were actually originally described by Jesus to Mary as the 7 Powers of the Ego. It turns out that Jesus didn't subscribe to the concept of sin, at least in the way we have been programmed to feel it. In Mary's gospel we are told that we are all both fully human and fully divine and that our soul faces a daily practice of overcoming the 7 powers of the ego, in order to embody a self-emptying love that has the capacity to shine into spaces that haven't felt it before. If we can empty ourselves of the 7 powers of the ego, that exist within all of us, our soul can remember our purpose in the midst of this human experience. These 7 powers are reminding me of the 8 Limbs of Yoga in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Here they are:
1. Darkness - feeling isolated, alone and separate
2. Desire - what the ego thinks it needs in order to be happy
3. Ignorance - lack of awareness of our soul's presence; literally ignoring our light
4. Zeal for death - living in such a way that endangers our body's capacity to thrive
5. Realm of the flesh - enslavement to the physical body; forgetting that we are also a soul
6. Foolish wisdom of the flesh - habituated patterns, feeling trapped in the body and not existing in the present moment- either grieving the past or worrying about the future
7. Wisdom of the wrathful person - when we are enraged we feel righteous and when not mastered we find ourselves participating in ways of being that betray our soul.
All 7 powers exist within all of us. They are part of the journey of life on Earth as a human being that we are supposed to experience and overcome, allowing us to bring love to situations where it has never been felt before. The point is for us to remember our soul as often as possible, in the midst of this human experience and to acknowledge what is real and find our way back to that unending love that wants to live through us. This is a daily operation and we may master it one day and then go to sleep only to awaken the next day to start the process of mastering the powers all over again. This is known as Kenosis - a process of self-emptying to allow space for the Divine to live through us.
We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.

What am I most devoted to in this moment?
What does the life I truly desire look like?
What does it or would it feel like to live with Soul Purpose?
What self compassion and courage does it or will it take to live your Soul Purpose?
Peace - the Reassurance Blend
Vetiver, Lavender, Ylang Ylang, Frankincense, Clary Sage, Marjoram, Labdanum, Spearmint
I recommend diffusing doTERRA's Peace Blend all week! As the Reassurance blend it is formulated to assist us when we lack inner peace. Humans thrive when we feel connected to the Divine. Souls achieve true and lasting peace through connection to the Source. Without true peace, there is a human tendency to try to manufacture peace by controlling our environment and relationships. Especially when we are afraid, it is tempting to try to control others because it gives an artificial sense of order and safety. Peace invites us to connect to the true source of unending peace and let go of control and excess attachments in order to experience the incredible peace that flows from the Divine. It invites us to trust in divine goodness and grace. Peace affirms that no amount of control or effort can fill the empty soul. It reminds us that only by connecting to our own Divinity will we cultivate lasting peace.
Prior to practice try applying 1-3 drops of Peace over your heart and throat chakras.
If you are interested in learning more about essential oils and how to use them as tools to support us through these transitional times, our Love Earth Collective meets every fortnight on Zoom to share Plant Alchemy Study Circles. Our next one falls on the New Moon in Pisces on Saturday 13th March and the beautiful Nicola Hart from Little Love Harts will be sharing a special Mother's Day Relaxation and Meditation with Peace blend.
